Della Hall has been Executive Director of Museums Alaska since 2017. Della is passionate about supporting Alaska museums, and believes that museums have the capacity to enact change in the world, and are stronger when they work together. She lives in Fairbanks, Alaska, and has worked in the humanities field since 2009. In Alaska, she has experience working for the Alaska & Polar Regions Collections & Archives at University of Alaska Fairbanks, the Western History Association, the Pioneer Air Museum, the Tanana Valley Railroad Museum, and the University of Alaska Museum of the North. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Coalition of State Museum Associations. Della holds an M.A. in History with a Certificate in Museum Studies from University of Delaware and a B.S. in History, Technology, and Society from Georgia Institute of Technology. Della was the recipient of the 2020 American Alliance of Museums Advocacy Leadership Award.
