Cultural Heritage Intern
This position is open to students aged 16 or older who are interested in an introduction to heritage preservation careers. No previous experience is necessary but you must have housing in Kodiak.
This position can be 20 to 40 hours a week and pays $15 per hour.

Advanced Cultural Heritage Intern
The position is open to students and young career professionals at least 18 years old, with previous field experience in archaeology or a related field. A travel and/or housing stipend may be available.
This is a 40-hour-a-week position that pays $17 per hour.

Cook Inlet Historical Society Summer Intern - Anchorage Museum
The Museum is seeking enthusiastic applicants for this year's Cook Inlet Historical Society Internship. This position is funded by the Cook Inlet Historical Society and the Anchorage Museum. Opportunities and training may include assisting with library and archival processing, researching and reference, developing a resource guide, and processing and describing photograph and archive collections.
Approximately 8-10 weeks, Summer 2024. The work schedule will be approximately 25-30 hours per week, Monday – Friday, during regular business hours.
$3,000 stipend

Museum Research Apprenticeship Program (MRAP) - University of Alaska Museum of the North
An apprenticeship where students earn 1-2 credits working for a department in the museum, learning a variety of skills relevant to working in that museum department.
