Museums Alaska will host a virtual Annual Meeting via Zoom on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. The schedule will be:
- Networking – 4:00pm
- Lightning Talks – 4:30pm
- Annual Meeting – 5:00pm
- Awards – 5:45pm

Theme: The Year in Review
Museums Alaska invites you to share your year’s accomplishments through our fun, virtual Lightning Talk event. On Wednesday, September 20, at 4:30pm, via Zoom, we will be hosting Lightning Talks—a series of fast, lighthearted or informative presentations about what you have been up to this year!
Have you and/or your institution accomplished something amazing since our 2022 conference? Reached a major milestone? Had something hilarious or unique happen that you want to share with the community? Whatever the topic, as long as it’s related to the past year, this is your event!
All participants will create a two-minute presentation to share their 2023 accomplishments and stories. The slides will progress automatically to keep the presenters on their toes, so keep it short and sweet—and hopefully have fun doing it.
