In February 2025, the Alaska Native Heritage Center, Alaska State Museum, and Museums Alaska revitalized the information sharing group — Cultural Center and Museum Consortium (CCMC).
If you are considering starting an Alaska Native cultural center or museum in the future, are in the process of building one now, or already run an Alaska Native cultural center or museum, we would love to have you join us to build community, share resources, and learn.
Each month, we host a Zoom call. Most months, we host speakers on a specific topic we have heard the community wishes to learn about. Once a quarter we host networking events, for community members to come with their questions or updates on their projects.
