Getting started with a system to track your collections can be overwhelming. Join Angela Linn, Senior Collections Manager of Ethnology and History at the University of Alaska Museum of the North for an hour and a half webinar on getting started with inventorying your collection, and some basic checklists that can help set you up for success in the long term.
Angela Linn has worked in Alaska museums since 1994 when she moved north, having completed her B.A. in Anthropology and Museum Studies at the University of Iowa. Her M.A. work at UAF culminated in the UAMN special exhibit "Not Just a Pretty Face: Dolls & Human Figurines in Alaska Native Cultures" (1999) and she is now engaged in an Interdisciplinary Ph.D. project at UAF that examines the past, present, and future of Alaska's museums. Angela is a long-time individual member of Museums Alaska, a former board member, and a current board member of the Western Museums Association.
Webinar will be hosted on Zoom. You will receive the webinar link and password via email after your registration is confirmed.
This project is supported by a Grant-In-Aid from the Alaska State Museum, and is made possible through partnership with the Western Museums Association.
