Last week House Bill 160 was introduced, which would repeal the State’s Percent for Art Program, as well as the Art in Public Places (AIPP) fund, which supports the Alaska Contemporary Art Bank. The first hearing on HB 160 will be held before the House State Affairs Committee at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31st. For Alaskans who support the Percent for Art Program, this hearing is an opportunity to provide testimony.
