Tribal Digitization Stewardship Cohort Program (8)

Created on: Monday, August 26, 2019
Moving towards finding more engaging and creative means of sharing the cultural resources of Nay'dini;aa Na' Kayax, we applied and were selected as one of six Tribes in the United States to participate in Washington State University's Center for Digital Scholarship and Curation's Tribal Digitization Stewardship Cohort Program for the 2019-2020 training year.

  • Angela Wade and I on our first day of class at the in-person sessions in August 2019.
  • The 2019-2020 cohort from: Alaska, Hawaii, Michigan, Wisconsin, Louisiana and New Mexico.
  • Our fearless cohort developers, instructors and mentors.
  • Learning about collaborative curation from Lotus Norton-Wisla
  • Angela Wade learning more about scanning and sizing photographs
  • Marianna Luquette from Louisiana's Coushatta Tribe learning how to digitize large scale and three-dimensional materials
