BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Kelly completed her BA in Anthropology at the University of Colorado-Boulder, and her MA in applied cultural anthropology at UAA. She has been involved in museums in Alaska since 2008, working at the Alaska Native Heritage Center, Anchorage Museum, Alaska Museum of Science and Nature, and the Alaska Aviation Museum. She has worked primarily in education and outreach, as well as exhibit design and fabrication. Her favorite part about working in museum education is seeing a the spark when people learn something new, or first see something they thought they knew all about applied in a new way. Kelly’s dedication to museums continues in working to create partnerships between schools and museums. She lives in Anchorage with her spouse and two children and they all love exploring Alaska and going on adventures together.
